Stoke was where my daughter was born. Spent two weeks with wife and daughter in. A load of the Indo-China war figures were sculpted in the special care unit at Stoke;).

Of all the hospitals I've worked in, the rehab units at Stoke Mandeville are the most inspiring.

Away for a week, and I miss all the excitement:

My wife used to work in the labs at Stoke Mandeville, but she's in Wycombe now after they merged labs across the two sites.

@Paul, they do have some good special care units there, but I didn't realise they'd supported our little hobby as well
