The soldier's barracks and arsenal.
He who controls the arsenal...  >:D

Now and then we had a hope that if we lived and were good, God would permit us to be pirates. – Mark Twain, Life on the Mississippi

The "Drunken Mermaid" Inn.
Miltiades loves this piece and devoted many pictures! Thanks for highlighting the big jar at the back side!
The group of people singing and drinking is an original composition of Miltiades from scratch.

A neighborhood with Meditteranean flavor. Is Elmira hiding there?

The square with the emblematic San Padolfo's statue... Oh!  :o

The Protector Saint's statue has been stolen!!!

Please, go to pp.9 and 12 to see this fine work of Miltiades

Some gossip say that the Governor has confiscated this piece of land to plant grapevines... but everybody knows that grapevines can't flourish on an island with zero altitude, a few dozen yards from the sea shore. Some say it was a bad spirit hovering around, hiding things just the moment we needed them. Some other say they saw Miltiades today, interrogating the boxes at the basement  lol

The Grand Redoubt, seen from the back.
In the small bay it is protecting, a beautiful Zvezda boat, made by Miltiades.

And you'll do very well my friend!
You have the paper, the wits, the know-how, so... Schnitzel it your way!
I will be extremely glad seeing something like that made by you! Cheers!

(hopefully in the afternoon I will continue with the narration of the battle)

You may also have some inspiration for half-timbered buildings from my photorealistic paper project

I'm so happy you enjoyed the game my friend!

About the game:

Players:
-Blueberry Sam, pirate captain: Antiochos
-Jack Yellowbeard, the other pirate: Miltiades
-Governor Ruffingstone: ArisK
-Major Peepington: Guldor
-Captain Horatio Vesselbloom: Miltiade's cousin, (Miltiades :) )

Player's initial positions:
Blueberry and Yellowbeard disembark by boat at the little bay under the unfinished fort and the port, respectively. The Governor is in his house, Major Peepington is wandering somewhere in the streets and a he has a small detachment bivouacked at the Grand Redoubt. Captain Vesselbloom enters from the side of the forest after appropriate dicing, 6 for the first round, 5+ for the second etc.

Purpose of the game:
FIND THE GOVERNOR'S DAUGHTER!
The two pirates manage to win if they manage to embark to a boat with the girl. The Governor and Major Peepington win if they manage to hold the girl for three rounds at the Governor's house or the Barracks respectively. Captain Vesselbloom wins if he manages to exit with the girl from the side of the forest (at the corner near the Spanish style hacienda).

But where is the girl::)
I don't know!
Every player has his own information, from dubious sources, they may be faulty, or dubious, or both  :)
Here are 6 cards. At the start of the game each player draws one card, informing him about the possible location of the girl.
Upon reaching the mentioned location, he must dice.
First round he finds her with a 6. Second with a 5+ etc.
This gives wide open the opportunity for the girl to be found by any one and the finding is subject to any players luck... More interesting is that the path of most of the players will intersect, so there will be a fight!

It sounds like we have some swashbuckling action in our future. The terrain is GORGEOUS, just the thing for a pirate game/film.
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx
