Pirate Island Town Square

Our pirate game will need a town square.
Here is the Town Square with its paper fountain.

Looking good!  So, are you going to post a photo with all of your work on one table?  Looking forward to seeing the entire village.

As we have scheduled a pirate game, this is a promise and will be fulfilled hopefully next week!

Making the Governors mansion

It is one of the rarest occasions I had decided to take pictures of something I make at an earlier stage  :?

Nice building! Stairs are a must for swashbuckling action!  ;)

Really, I had this in mind and I was planning to make an extra double staircase at the opposite side of the building. (Imagine swashbucklers in fencing duels running up and downstairs...) But then it would take Pharaonic proportions and it was already covering a sizeable table area...
What I had in mind when I started making this, was something that looked as constructed in different periods, the older building being the small red roofed house at the left.

Nice project.

Thank you! I hope I didn't tire you all with this picture heavy thread, this IMHO is the best one I've built.

The Governors Mansion

Took me ten working days to finish this, the Governor found a small yet beautiful residence to live!

When the Governor settled to the island, he bought a piece of land from a local farmer. In this old farmers house lives now the gardener - somebody has to look after the mansion's garden  :)

After building the main house, the Governor asked for an empty space to be left on the upper floor for a terrace.
This is the place where the Governor escapes from his administrative duties (and -believe me- he hasn' t so many) to take his tea (or coffee) with a splendid view to the sea (Mediterranean or Carribean?) looking for the pirates to appear...
But if the pirates are ever to appear from the direction the Governor is looking, both them and the Governor shouldn't be worthy of their reputation  :)

I liked very much the climbing rosebud as a quick way to the governor's daughter bedroom window!  lol

Be careful though, cause the trunk is a dried trunk from grapes, so don't pull too hard  lol
