Pulp Egyptian scenery
« on: 15 March 2009, 10:18:11 AM »
Made this about 5 years ago, recently put a smaller doorway in and gave it a repaint. The statues are removable, so that they can be used with other bits and pieces. The rockface is made from casts from Woodland Scenics rock molds. Statues are from Monolith and the entrance is from Grendel. Apologies for the quality of the picture, it's a bit out of focus.

I go to pieces so fast that people get hit by the shrapnel.

That looks rather nice! I assume you use it on one edge of the table to make a scenario goal or an entry point for undead creatures?

Great scenery.
Nothing wrong with the photo either.
Cool idea with the different statues

Awesome looking entrance. You should be very pleased with your work. I really like the rock work. Makes it stand out very nicely. Thanks a lot for sharing. :-*

Great looking stuff! I so admire people who can build awesome terrain like this.

If I may offer a photo tip, does your camera have aperture priority mode? To maximize depth of field, use AP mode and go to a high f-stop. I struggled for years with miniature photography until somebody told me that, and it's made a huge difference.

That said, I still think the pic is pretty darn good!

That looks fantastic.  Do you have any more Egyptian terrain, perhaps an entire tabletops worth?

I would love to see more :)
