Wow! It's amazing how eell the old Copplestone barbarian giant has ages. The model is like from the early 90s, isn't it?

Captain, stellar job on these barbarians! Every single one of them is a separate work of art. Hard to pick out a favorite among them!

moiterei, let me say I really enjoyed your entries this year. I am sorry we didn't get to see your finale, but I understand. It took me 4 weeks to paint my last entry.  lol  Hope you come back next year -- thanks for the show!

Thanks Mike  :)

Well I bought him about three weeks ago, but I can well believe he's a vintage sculpt.
Testimony to Mark Copplestone's wonderful work, that he still looks fresh as a daisy 25+ years down the line.
To me, Mark Copplestone remains the maestro.
Although I have to say, these plastic Frostgrave barbarians are also bloody fantastic liitle characters, and you can make so many lovely combinations from the parts provided.

Nick, I'm sorry the voting is not closer. It deserves to be. That is a wonderful WWII scene - lovely terrain and beautiful miniatures.

Richard, fantastic work and brilliant painting. I have not been a great fan of the barbarian frostgrave plastics until now. That's the work of a master painter showing that you can enhance even those sculpts resulting in fantastic miniatures. Respekt!

Oof, there's a match up. I reckon voting would perhaps be closer if the paras were a little closer in the frame. Captain, you've almost sold me on those barbarian sculpts ...

Great work both!

Thank you Richard and never mind! I knew it'd be risky to make a re-run but unfortunately the essential parts for my final entry didn't turn up in time  :? bad luck I guess  ;)
I'll be better prepared next time round.

And it's certainly no shame to pull the shot straw against such an excellent entry! Suberb work on the skin tones and beautiful composition.

@mikedamania: Thanks mate and I'd certainly enjoy another go.
