Run through the jungle. pt1.
« on: June 07, 2017, 08:03:41 PM »
The idea was very basic. Somewhere in galaxy far, far away a long range recon patrol of space commandoes has been sent out to scout a heavily jungled area along a river. Contact with some settlements have been lost and reports stream into the CP of strange things on the far side of the river. The SC startingpoint is the bottom right side of the table and to establish a base of operations in an old watchtower. The unknown threat is based in an odd & forboding looking structure on the opposite side. Between the them is a deep and fast flowing jungle river where a thrid paty is hiding. This is the x-factor as it is not known wether or at all it is favorable to either of the combattants. If need be is it to go into the water?

The SC establish a Cp in the old tower without trouble and start scouting the area and looking to the other side of the fast flowing water. They cannot miss the ancient bridge that is the only connection between their side of the river and the other side. What will they do? Rush the bridge and make sure the other do not cross it. Or set a firm ambush and wait for the others to cross the bridge when they will at their most vulnerable. The decision is made for the SC. From the towering structure (that looks like a termote hill) across the river the aliens begin to emerge havin' picked up the movement of other lifeforms with their highly sensitive multi awareness brain. Now the game is on and the SC have to move. To be continued.

Indeed. The miniatures are Void 1.1 from Scotia Grendel. For the most part the commandoes and the sniper is a marine. Run through the jungle. Pt. 2 will soon be shown in this section. Thanks for the replies gents. ;-)

Made by my friend and fellow entrepeneur of tales of mystery and the imaginary, Markiemark. He is a licensed Hirst Arts retailer of beautifull stuff made those wonderfull Hirst Arts molds. As a matter of fact you can find him here ... https://www.tabletop-buildings.com/ ..... and he could do with some of you folk putting in big orders. ;-)

Indeed. And talking ( mainly to myself) are there many people here on LAF who use Hirst Arts building for their games? Savvy. ;-)
