@Andym:Thanks very much!

@Keith: Ha, many thanks indeed!

@tomrommel1: Cheers. Once a recipe is worked out things go reasonably fast.

Right, here's the final mini of the army - the Weirdboy:

Hope you like him! Just like every single other mini in the army he's a little bit converted. If you look closely (it#s a bit hard in the photos, but believe me, I have looked closely at every single one of those chaps :P ) there's not two single minis alike in this army. It's really impressive. I didn't build them, I just painted them.

Nice! 8) is the weirdboy a new ork model? I don't remember ever seeing that figure anywhere!

Lovely painting.

I've never really liked the current 40k ork aesthetic, but that changes when looking at them with your paint work.

Well done indeed

It's a warhammer/Age of Sigmar Shaman I think. With a converted staff. It's very nice!

@Andym: Thanks very much! Yeah, it's a new Orc shaman with the staff converted (as Sir_Theo pointed out already).

@hubbabubba: Thank you! That's always one of the most flattering kinds of compliments. The funny thing is is that not only me not really digging the Ork redo that happened in 1998 made me collect the Orks army of younger me a bunch of years ago (all 1st and 2nd edition Orks), but also the gentleman I paint these Orks I just posted for is collecting one of these old-school only Orks as well. Which is why he lacks the time and inclination to pain these new-style Orks himself. :D So yeah, there are several of us who feel the same way you do.

Right, let's move on to Infinity for once!

WIP PanO team:

Hope you like them so far! I love high-contrast, shiny dark blue sci-fi armour.

I'm currently working on these chaps here, followed by a Yu Jing team and then some Haqqislam minis. Funnily enough, I never painted Yu Jing before. Should be fun.

Here's the Yu Jing team (also still kinda WIP):

Hope you like them so far! First time I'm painting Yu Jing, believe it or not.

Here's a WIp shot of the Haqqislam figures:

These are just the regular sized ones; there's a big guy yet to come as well!

Last WIP of the Haqqislam minis. Added the big Al Fasid and some odd lighting. :P

No Infinity fans on here? Shame, they look great, but then I'm biased!  lol

These Infinity models look absolutely fantastic. I know how tiny and detailed they are to paint, too.

They're all great but I love the high-contrast blue on the PanO squad.

@Randell: :D Thanks very much! I guess Infinity-heads are over in more Infinity-centric forums. I guess it would also get more attention if I'd made a separate thread for these Infinity minis, but I don't want to clutter LAF with threads to be honest. Anyway, all the more thanks to you and the others who dropped by and took the time to comment! :) Funny thing on the side: Few days ago I posted a kinda ruddy snapshot of some Malifaux figures (WIP) I'm working on over on Twitter and the photo got a TON of likes and a bunch of retweets. Up there with the all made-up infinity shots with terrain and all. Maybe I'm underestimating the popularity of Infinity vs. Malifaux. It's very interesting to have one's perceptions of things put to the test.

@tomogui: Thanks, Sir! Yus, always fun painting Infinity minis. These here I got pre-assembled and they had some super glue stuck here and there, which I had to take care off. Didn't make things easier. :D Cheers, the cool thing about going high-contrast is that you don't really need any contrasting colours in there as you got the dark/light contrast on there, which leads to this very different aesthetic, which I really enjoy, especially with dark blue shiny stuff. Love it.

@OSHIROmodels: Thanks very much once more! I got the models last week, by the way. Lovely, lovely, lovely. No idea when I get the time to do anything with them, but at least I got them now, just in case. ;)

Right, Infinity minis are done now. :)

Hope you like them!

..and now I have to go varnish them.

Stunning stuff! Your painting never ceases to amaze!!! :o

How did you do the photo backdrop too? Is that painted or photoshopped in?

@Andym: That's just photoshopped in. Not that I know much about photography, but I think it makes the whole picture look extremely askew in terms of composition. :D

Got to disagree with your last statement, mate! I think it places them firmly in a world setting! It kinda adds to the story you've created with your figures and terrain. 8)
