Well, I now have the Amazon bodies and shields in hand and some female Hoplite heads, so they are now in the queue along with everything else....

Something did jump the queue yesterday, though, a BIG something: Cerberus!

He arrived yesterday morning, fresh from the Bears Head Miniatures Kickstarter and, as I was working on some other critturs at the time, he barged his way in.

He did have to have a little work done, in order that he would fit on a 40mm base like the rest of my Legends, but other than that he is pretty much fresh from the box.

A quick paintjob, mostly drybrushing and washes, and he is ready to go.

A couple of crap photos of him, with the light doing its usual thing for me at the moment, including one with a 28mm skellie so you can see just how big he is....

Thanks, chaps!
 :)

Seeing as how I seem to have stalled on Freya a little (and also wanting to get the Norse playable as soon as possible, for which I need a God!) I have just finished making a few alterations to my choice for Thor.

The only alterations are adding a tunic and troos to the base model to hide his otherwise nekkid parts as he will be based in the usual 'snow' base for the Norse, and exposed arms and legs seemed a little daft considering that....

He should be on the painting table soon.

Glad that you pointed that out!
I think he now needs a beard.

His beard has been sorted and painting has begun.
 ;)

In the meantime, here area a few shots taken during Athena's ding-dong with Odin during the week.

All was quiet on the God-Plane....

...until Odin forgot to take the bins out, of course!

Then the domestic began....

The 'Dead-Off!'....

The sneaky Argonaut helped tip the balance in this encounter....

...and Odin eventually had to give in and admit he was in the wrong. Again....

I was never really happy with the original conversion that I did for Pan some time back so I was always on the lookout for another option.
Having seen the a lovely example of the Mythic Battle Pantheon version posted on the OGAM FB page I thought that I would grab one of those.
Lovely though he was, I had two problems with him...

Firstly he was just too BIG!
He would tower over all of my other Gods (which I could just about live with as he does have 'Tremble Before My Might!') but mainly because he would not fit on a double shelf in my cabinet.

Also, I was not too keen on the fur on his legs, the 'clumps' of hair just looked too chunky and clumpy.
Luckily the first problem was solved as I wanted to use the original base that I had made with him sitting down. A quick snip of the legs and a little repositioning sorted that problem. It just meant that I would have to fill the gaps, which was not really a problem as I wanted to re-sculpt the furry legs to give them finer strands.
 ;)

Anyway, enough waffle, here he is with the base layers of his flesh areas started...
