Well, I went back through the thread earlier and used the 'fix' on the broken Photobucket links.
How long this lasts, we shall see.
 ::)

As for continuing, there is plenty more to come.
I have a sizable amount of the Norse faction that just need rebasing, including warriors, Dvergar, Undead.
Also a few Legends and Gods for both Norse and Greek are sitting in the paint queue, beginning with Pan, whose 'donor body' arrived yesterday and Hades who will be based on the North Star Ares figure.

I hope to have an update for this by the end of the week.

Very impressed so far! I have about 1200 points of Greeks and Athena, Artemis and Apollo to lead them.

I do keep thinking I need some Vikings too though...

Keep posting, I'm looking forward to seeing more.

Most inspirational, Nic.
I am pretty sure that I have seen some of your posts on here already.

I fully intend to keep at it, although nothing was achieved these last few days due to illness, I have accrued some more reinforcements for both forces.
More on that tomorrow, I hope.

I'd like to see a 'Disputes of the Gods' scenario based around Odin arguing with Zeus over a hedge that's overhanging his garden and blocking out light into his conservatory. You'd have to model the hedge and conservatory though.

 lol lol

Well, that is the first scenario sorted out then....although it will be Pan's bush that is upsetting Odin's humours.

lol I must have been getting mixed up with the time Zeus got Odin's semi-skimmed pints delivered to his door instead of his regular whole milk.

Reverting to some earlier discussion about missing Gods etc, i must say that Eureka miniatures has a Pan, some armed satyrs and centaurs that might fill your gaps.
see the range: http://eurekamin.com.au/index.php?cPath=87_126_715&sort=3a
they are listed in fighting 15s site, too, in UK: https://www.fighting15sshop.co.uk/satyrs-424-c.asp

Thanks for the suggestions, but I think I have those units covered now.
The Satyrs are done, and I have found the parts that I was looking for to make the Centaurs and Dryads as well as a figure that will form a very solid base for me to work on for Pan.

Oh, the Milk War!
That was sometime previous and result in the first Bush that Pan grew....

Things have escalated since then, I fear.

Lovely stuff already in this thread.

I pulled out my random Greek stuff (as you've distracted and/or inspired me) and see I nearly have 900 points (will gather the rest and also start a thread too). Damn (wargaming) butterfly effect (at least it's nearly all painted).

How many points are you working towards (sorry if I missed it, late to the party)?

There's a Kickstarter in this: "Petty Disputes of the Gods" with Zeus in slippers and dressing gown (bathrobe) and Odin in a pair of shorts and Led Zeppelin t-shirt.

Getting back to the miniatures though (I know, my fault!) would any of the 54mm Greeks that Irregular Miniatures do be useful for constructs (painted as stone or bronze?),  demi-gods and the like?

I do not have a target point.
I am simply adding what I like to each faction until I think I have 'enough'.
What 'enough' means is subject to change, of course.

That is a good idea, but I do think that I have 'enough' Greeks for now, once I finish the other figures* that I found in my leadpile and bits box last week....

* Figures found in the leadpile/bits box last week (whilst digging for something else, of course) include all the parts needed for my planned Centaurs and Dryads, three Harpies that need stripping, a new (better) Minotaur, a perfect figure to use as Athena and a couple of figures to add to the Norse faction as well.
That little lot, along with what I already have, should keep me busy for some time, I reckon.

Re: Disputes of the Gods (OGAM) Generic Greek Heroes....

Three new additions to the Greeks, Generic Heroes.

These were courtesy of a trade with LeadAsbestos. which just needed a little finishing off and rebasing to fit in with my existing forces. These are Bronze Age miniatures and are slightly taller than the rest of the troops, so will make ideal Legends.

These will be used as whatever Greek Hero I need at the time....

Nice additions mate. There's something about this genre that that's very appealing. I think it's the inner Ray Harryhausen in us.

Thanks, chaps.
 :)

The addition of the new Heroes does mean that the 'Hero' formerly known as Jason is now just A.N.Other Argonaut now as he is a fair bit smaller than the new 'Primaris' Heroes.
His sabot base is not going to waste, though, as another one of the things that LeadAsbestos sent me in that trade was an almost finished Medusa who will be joining the Faction as soon as I have her finished. She fits nicely on that base with the ruined pillar.
