Thanks, chaps.
Much appreciated.
 :)

Another package arrived in the post today, so Apollo has to be added to the Greek 'to do' list as well.
Note to self: Must not add any more Greek stuff, as I want to start on the Norse soon.....

Nothing new to add at the moment (I have not even finished painting Pan yet...  ::) ) but I did have to take all of the Greeks out of their cabinet earlier so I took the opportunity for a quick group shot so far....

The above mentioned cabinet re-arrangement did make it clear to me that the Greeks are almost finished, though, as I only have space for two more Gods (with Pan being one of the two) and one more Legend.
There is no room for any more Greek Mortal units at the moment, although I have the parts for, and really want to make, the Centaurs....

So, the Greeks are nearly done, for now.

Time to start sorting out the Norse, I guess....
 ;)

Great stuff all around, and I love the Dryads in particular. I might have to steal that if I ever do a Greek mythology project.

Thanks, Tarkers!

Thanks, Duke.
Steal away. It is easy enough to do and I think the result is worth the effort.
 ;)

We got a game in earlier, my Greeks led by Athena were up against Legionnaire Bert's Norse under the command of Odin.
Good fun was had, especially when we had not one, not two but THREE 'Clash of the Titans' moments between the two Gods.
There was much 'Awe-Inspiring' action all round.
 ;)

I managed to take a couple of pictures during the game, which I will post tomorrow morning.
 :)

Well, only three pictures were actually worth posting, so here they are.

First up, the main clash involving several units. The face off between the Armoured Hoplites and the Norse Warriors was fiercely contested and drawing to a conclusion. The Norse Berserker unit had just been finished off by the intervention of Athena into the fray.
Odin's arrival was about to tip the balance once more....

The other side of the battle line saw the Frost Giant, Niels, heavily outnumbered by Drunken Satyrs, with 'Stavros the Incompetent' calling advice from the sidelines, and rather alarmingly about to be rear ended by that snake-haired, evil-eyed wench, Medusa.....would he become a 'Stone Giant'?

Late in day and a true 'Clash of the Titans', literally. Three drawn combats on the trot, with the resulting thunder and lightning causing all the Mortals in the vicinity to experience serious migraines with the sheer 'Awe' of the spectacle.
And, as they say 'it aint over 'til the fat lady sings'.....but she had arrived and was warming up in the background!

We had a great game, with some notable casualties on both sides, until proceedings were called to a halt by a call from Freya, who had returned from bingo to find her husband was not in the mead hall as he was supposed to be, but was busy arguing with 'that Greek bint' again!

Thank you, sir.
Your games have been an inspiration and helped me to get back to this project.
Which I am very grateful for as I am really enjoying be back in the land of mythology.

I expect they are from the frozen north.

Nice looking game and I'm sure I've seen that table top somewhere before. ;)
