I now have the Norns finished, and as I have three Gods for the Greeks now done it is time for the Norse to get some Godlike reinforcements, beginning with Freya or Loki.
I shall post a piccie of the Norns later once the 'snow' has dried......
Looking forward to seeing those, and the Cat lady of course :)

The Cat Lady is on the way, have no fear, as I now have the time to get to it properly.
She is a little more complicated than the rest, ya know?
 ;)

The norns look great, Paul :)

Thank you, sir.
And 'Thank You!' for providing them, they were much fun to convert and I am pretty happy with how they have turned out too.
Evidence of which will be provided later.
 ;)

An appropriate base, especially for this time of year.
 ;)

Another difficult job getting a decent picture, dark figures, white base.....got there in the end, though.
Really happy with how these came out, though, pretty much what I envisaged from the start.

They are great. Nice idea basing the three together. Really effective.

Thank you, all!
 :)

I decided to simply base them all together as the Norns are must always known as just that.
I have not heard of them mentioned as a single person, so I figured that they should all be seen together,

Gamewise, I will probably only have one in the force but having three figures on the base will not be a problem as long as I inform my opponent that they actually only represent one 'Norn'.

I also must confess that I think they look better that way and that was the ultimate reason that I went for all three together.

It's a good decision , Paul.
Better as a group than as solo figurine.
Anyway they are not fighter figurines so no problem to be represented as a vignette on the table l

Well, it has been a while, but we got a game in yesterday.

Hades led his Greeks against the Mighty Odin and his Norse.

A shot of the field of battle before it all kicked off....

...and a shot across the heat filled haze from the point of view of the Greek poet Yapssalotable....

It was great game, that swayed back and forth a few times, but Odin turned out to be a true force to be reckoned with, eventually accounting for most of the Greek force on his own....leaving only Hades and Medusa to run off into the sunset together at the end of the game.

No more pictures were taken once we got started but we did use the 'Gates' from an earlier post....

...with a unit beginning its move in contact with a 'Gate' base having the option of using an Action to pass through the 'Gate' and then appearing at one of the other two, chosen at random, which proved to be great fun.
Give it a go at it will be worth it, I assure you.
 ;)

Nice set up mate. I second the fun that can be had with random transportation. I did something similar with portals in a game and it provided a good few 'moments'.

It's a very goog idea !
Could be use too if you play on several tables , more fun indeed.
Or with fail teleportation
