I'm not going to bother tidying up these grots and handler. For a promethium cash the other dude can get like a terminator!

I'm not sure what I do if someone rocks up with a terminator. Pray the rokkit launcha hits...

Anyway. Some more remodelled old Orks.

And how they fit into the wider family.

The yoof with grenades is supposed to just sneak up into some close fire battle between my guys and say entrenched imperial guard - and just chuck a grenade to let them break forward or at least pin some humies.

Thanks Dr Mathias. Alas, Shadow War Armageddon seems to have died a short and sharp death. I almost feel robbed. Not just of the money but also the time. But I have had an idea. In my FLGS people do play DeathZone. So I picked up some bespoke Death Zone marauder orx and have converted them with various bits to match my 40K orks. I think they look OK. I will paint the armour bolt gun metal and distress it with a bit of orange rust.

I love this big guy. He likes listening to his headphones (sounds of da seventies)  and shooting da big gun. Otherwise he not too smart.

Some fun scenery at the FLGS. Pit Gaming Shop in Borehamwood. If anyone knows how to get that rusted metallic effect over or under the yellow do share...

nice little project

It is fun. Thanks.

Well, I had fun painting this hulk model. He reminds me of something from Guardians of the Galaxy - he likes listening to da seventies muzik with his headphones and watching things go kaboom. He also won me the first game of Deadzone I played. The really nice guy demoing the game with me also played marauders but really combat heavy. The mawbeasts leapt forward and seized objectives getting points left right and centre and his warboss just took one guy out a turn. He was on 14 points and me on 11 (I’d taken a grot and loads of commandos who took out a number of his weaker guys but I had no skill in sitting on scenario markers etc.) his warboss then started laying into the hulk and caused two wounds. I activated the hulk, broke out of combat losing one more wound, pointed that huge gun at the warboss and yippikayay mother... and totally open shot against a bloodied warboss   and kaboom. Bye bye warboss. Then, with one of those extra strategy dice another totally open blast against his rippersuit dude on a level below (loads of eight sided dice) and, kaboom, bye bye ripper guy and hello sixteen points and the game! Great fun. Never knew what I was doing but Orx seem fun.

You should not. You still have a pretty collection of models you can use for more than SW Armageddon and DeadZone. Your orks can raze the galaxy across multiple rulesets: Kill Team, Rogue Stars, Void Pirates, among others.

That.  Those figs will fit in SO many game systems, and you can be proud of your work on them for years to come.
