Very nice Start!

Wouldn't it be fitting for this period to also allow command stands as single figured, i.e. a general accompanied by some staff figures?

@Lt. Hazel Thank you for the compliment :). Hopefully I will be able to finish another miniature before this painting club ends.

And of course there are some very nice new entries!!!

Cheers Hannibal

A sort of wistful scene. A little melancholy, perhaps. I know he's looking down because he's loading his gun, but it seems then he sees the flowers and is distracted, thinking of his love back home. The whole has an aura of sadness and longing about it. I love it! :)

Another song from another war, but it puts me in mind of...

"Auf der Heide blüht ein kleines Blümelein..."

(Maybe I am overthinking it, mind.)  lol

#010 - Perry 28mm, Brigadier General to command a Peninsular War light cavalry brigade. EDIT: Make that a heavy cavalry brigade.

From the British Colonels in bicornes (Worldwide 1808-13) set, slight modification carried out on the cuffs to remove buttons and lace loops.
