Looking forward to seeing more pictures and I was there!
You MUST show the birthday boy in his corner.
I enjoyed it, good game, nice village, simple rules & great friends (or should that be great rules & simple friends),
and not forgetting the bacon & sausage butties, lashings of drinks (hot as well as cold) AND a birthday cake!!!
Thanks to Mr & Mrs Flatpack, as always wonderful hosts.
WE will draw a veil over Garry's fanatical villagers taking out most of my beloved Tower Hamlets regiment (of the
London Trained Bands) and just concentrate on Parliament getting ALL the provender from the village.

A game of Muskets and Tomahawks played 2 weeks ago at our club, using Happy Wanderers adapted army lists. the rules worked really well and grabbed the period and feel of combat perfectly.

There were 5 players two of whom had never played before but really enjoyed it.

The scenario was a Maori warparty assaulting a local stockade held by local militia. Relief column consisted of Regulars and a Naval Brigade.

The Maori aim was to seize the stockade and kill all militia . During the game random events meant heavy rain (rolled 3 times during the game) which delayed the Regulars however the brave militia managed to hold the stockade dying in the very last turn a pyrrhic victory as the ranked muskets of the Regulars destroyed their resolve and they faded back into the bush

Continuing our Sellswords & Spellslingers campaign... Chapter 5 - Where our heroes finally met their match: One comatose, one dead, but both were carried out by their friends, who abandoned the mission to rescue them.

Heroic fight on the cliff, unfortunately she lost and was killed by the nasty Orc...

The Turks were besieging a city defended by the Russians, while cavalries clashed outside!
