Another One Hour Wargames 18th century imaginations Clash using scenario 11 (same as the last ACW game but with different results due to force composition).  The Tartiflette troops advancing as dusk falls need to secure the crossroads by the village in 15 turns.  Unexpected resistance from a West Shinken Legion delayed the inevitable until turn 14 when the Lt infantry and Grenadiers who arrived in turn 9 were obliterated by combined fire from three battalions and a battery.  Crossroads secured in turn 15.  Cracking game played via messenger video.  Couple minor tweaks to the rules and much fun had by both players.

Had my first face-to-face play (other than 40K with the Little Fish) for a while.

We enjoyed an 800pt game of Legion. My Rebels led by Han with Chewie in support with troopers and a couple of mini walkers managed to defeat imperials with Boba and a Dewback led by Darth Vader.

As usual my Wookies failed to perform - every time I use them I swear it'll be the last but I still find myself adding them to the roster. I got luck early on by having very shot targeting the Dewback hit home and (again) it was destroyed before it could fire.

Vader made a mess of the rebel centre but was brought down by progressive fire and Han getting the drop on him with a zero pip command card when he has down to two wounds. The ever-unreliable Z-6 then went against form and cleaned up Boba leaving a few nervous stormies to face undamaged Han and Chewie and some remaining troopers.

Close game not reflected in the 6-2 points score at the end. Terrific fun!

The table is 8x4 and we are using 15mm stuff. The table is permanently up in my cave.

Pre game aerial pictures were created for the US army to plan an attack , Germans deployed hidden mostly .

Game was run live on Zoom with two feeds into it from the table (I have a paid account so it doesn’t time out - and quality has been good). iPads set up on small tripods so they can be moved around as players need

It did create some extra fog of war as the far end of table was not under close general view . First session done yesterday , another tommorrow will see it finished I think .

Lots of eye candy and realistic action!

With the COVID restrictions being slowly adjusted here in the Northern Territory, I was permitted to have a small gathering for gaming last Sunday. So we had a three player Fistful of Lead game on my back patio. PLO/Red Brigade terrorists vs. Israeli commandos vs local African militia. It's a great system, one of my mates hadn't gamed since his early teenage years and picked it up without any dramas.
