No question that this is a little self-promotional,...

That's what LAF is all about when you've got pictures! And that's a really great set of photos. I especially like the band scenes with musicians and dancers.

Another swapmeet - this time at the All Holden and GM Day. Two more of these smaller Days Gone vans:

Two more smaller Days Gone vans, which should suit Savage Worlds.

And another of those Chinese pull-backs. Note the strange branding.

Nice models. I'll keep a look out for the make for future Pulp games.

I have attached a link to my 28mm Gangster gallery.  It is a huge gallery of photos, and shows a city layout in diorama form.   On the streets of that city are approximately 50 die cast and resin cars and trucks.  No question that this is a little self-promotional, but I have not attached pictures here because I have not recovered from my Photobucket cleansing.  I think if you take a moment to check my gallery out you will not be disappointed by the great variety of vehicles you will see.  The gallery can be seen at www.warin15mm.com/28mm-Gangsters---Stuff.html

Richard, its an AWESOME work of yours as usual, and highly inspirational for all kinds of projects in 28mm!  :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

P.S.> I don't recall seeing that Toy Story dino in the Batcave Diorama when I first saw your gallery a long time ago... GREAT IDEA!  lol

I've just got this Burago Limited Series 1:43 Jaguar XK120 Roadster 1948, the same car briefly used by the lovely Emma Stone in the movie GANGSTER SQUAD (2013)  :-*

Mine is exactly as the movie one, but I could find no picture online; these pictures are from the usual Burago 1:24 scale model, that happens yo have the same features (lots of details, opening doors, opening hood with detailed engine, etc...):

A late model for 30s Pulp for sure, but the model is so fine that it will be used by the Boss' red-haired girlfriend in our games and can be found parked in front of The Horny Unicorn Nightclub anyway!  lol

Here a picture from the movie:

Lots of pictures (with a 28mm figure for scale comparison) of the Matchbox Models of Yesteryear suitable for Pulp/Gangsters games here:

Jag XK120 - one of my all-time favourite cars. I had a Dinky Toy version as a kid (in the fifties, forsooth). I wonder what scale it was.

Doug, according to the site below, the vintage ( lol) Jaguar XK120 Dinky Toys is 97mm long, so it is EXACTLY 1:43 scale!  ;)

A much more affordable and available car than the aforementioned is the 1:43 MP Lafer from the James Bond Cars Collection - a roadster with a very strong PULP feel IMHO!  :D

The MP Lafer is a Brazilian car (with a VW 1.6 rear mounted engine) made from 1974 to 1990, a replica of the British 1950 MG TD Midget. The car was featured in the Bond movie "Moonraker" (1979), driven by Aruban actress Emily Bolton as Bond's MI6 contact in Rio de Janeiro.

Just waiting for PULP ALLEY RALLY!  :D

Wow...! Although that is for a perfect example in a mint box. If mine still existed, it'd be priced more like the other ones on that page. It certainly wouldn't be perfect or have a box.

I never knew before that those "T" type MGs were also called Midgets. Second-hand ones were quite common in the early sixties for about 50 quid - I was tempted many times (I mean the actual cars, not models).
