Cheers :) .

These are now as finished as they will ever be. Thorsen on the left, Ranulf on the right :) :

They will be glued down and then I will prime them as soon as the weather lifts :)

I have now primed the dreads:

Now that I have got as far as I can with them, I thought I'd see what I could find in the loft and managed to uncover my Bullgryn squad. Only one of them had been converted... and he didn't have any weapons but luckily, I had thought about that earlier and bagged a lot of Bullgryn bits from EBay. With the bits already available, it was merely a case of a bit of sawing, drilling, pinning and gluing and I soon ended up with this:

He's a converted, Mantic, Dreadball Ork with GW weapons. He still needs some putty work to fill gaps and sort out a few niggles... but he's pretty much there :) . I have another four sat in a box beside me so I have enough for a squad of five. Tidy :) .

Curious what a "niggles" is in your language? :-)

And the four pics of the dreads above before they was primed.
The last one.
On the minigun arm, above the blue piece that is the "ammo drum" and to the left of the rune, is that the bolt and extractor for the minigun?

It's just the hole that spent cases come out. The bolt extractor is inside the shoulder.

Niggles - annoying things that need tidying up :)

Only just seen this thread - there's great work here.

A note on the rough riders - stuff that GW don't sell any more have been dropped from the codex but if it's in the index it's still legal. I'm current kit bashing some together from various WH kits.

It's legal as long as the index is considered legal. I am not spending weeks of work, building up a unit of 10 Badger riders, only to find out that the index is no longer allowed to be used.

If you want to take the risk, I hope it works out for you :) ... it's probably better that I don't make mine because my luck is so bad, it would probably bring forward the demise of the Index :D!

Fair enough. Hopefully I'll get mine done quickly enough that they'll get enough use to have been worth it.

The competition sculpt (Squat Berserker) has been cast up and I was sent a couple of copies so I painted one up:

Brilliant!

Is that one of the Meng Q Edition Panther tanks? I've seen the KV-2s on E-Bay and considered picking them up as weird ork tanks but couldn't find a scale reference...
