Thanks for the enginseer pics.. much better..... great mini
Hey Inso are you aware of these Resin Dwarves at Ramschackle.
If you are going the rogue trader way then you would need bikes & trikes.
He has some serious looking stuff & he's a great guy to do business with.

I like especially the standing Dwarf Battle Mage, Kool funny pose.... like a dwarf fonzie

Yep, I've seen those.

I have always hated the bikes/trikes for the old Squat armies so won't be having any in my army. I am also not a fan of the resin that Ramshackle uses... so it's a double no.

This army is geared around the Imperial Guard codex with only the high echelon leadership coming from the Space Marine Codex... in order to have bikes, they would need to be Space Marine Scouts at a minimum... and I don't plan on having mounted Hearthguard.

My mounted troops will be Badger riding Rough Riders :) (when I pull my finger out :o ).

Been 8 days w/o an update. What you been doing, sleeping? :-)

Always love your stuff. Just need to make more.
I stopped looking at threads because of the dam Photobucket fiasco waiting on a fix. Glad to see they are happening.

Yes! Squats! Well-converted Squats!

Obviously plenty of care and attention to detail gone into these chaps, can't wait to see them painted.
No battle plan ever survives first contact with the dice.

Inso, you are The Man when it comes to Squats. No doubt.  Er ..incidentally...how tall are you?
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

2019 Painting Challenge :
figures bought: 500+
figures painted: 57
9 vehicles painted
4 terrain pieces scratchbuilt

8 days? It'll be a while longer yet :)

I have been distracted... with... PAINTING  :o :o :o

I needed to get back into familiar territory so I dug out a few Grymn. It gives me a chance to see some of the colours I have recently bought and also to try out my GW crackle paint (I have never used it before)... so some Grymn (from here: http://www.hfminis.co.uk/shop?category=sci%252dfi-%26%0D%0Aweird-war ):

For the record, i am around 175cm tall, do not currently have a beard and only have a hatchet for chopping wood (not for killing orcs...) .

Cheers :) . They were cast by a professional and not by me.

In case anyone is interested, they arrived yesterday and I have only checked one of the castings... which was of exceptional casting quality. If the rest are of the same standard I will be very happy indeed.

I will be keeping one or two sets for myself but the rest will be going up for sale at some point. Obviously, I need to inspect them and work out how I am going to do it... but I have a new blog which will act as the front to my little adventure so if you would like to purchase these in the future, keep an eye on it. Here's the link:

https://insoemporium.blogspot.co.uk/

I will also be selling the spare sets of these legs (from the same place) along with other bits and bobs in the future:

I think that the next item will be the Ogre sniper... but it will be a way off yet.

Well, if you ever get into doing fantasy Squa-, er, Dwarves, I think you'd have a customer here for sure! ;)

Very unlikely, I'm afraid... not enough 'PEW...PEW...' for me :)
