Cheers :)

The main gun is an extended battle cannon (Vanquisher) so it is, what it is :) . It's probably a little long but I'm not too worried.

Painting has started...

Just decals to go now :) :

1x Tank commander with Vanquisher.
3x Punisher.
3x Annihilator.
3x Battle Cannon.
1x Engineseer Chimera.

I think I need to add a Hydra for a bit of air support... so that will probably turn up at some point :) .

And possibly a rugged-looking APC to boot. ;-)

I've drifted into this thread a few times - failing until now to tell you the fun you've captured with this army. Your sculpting is very good too.

Thank you :) .

@von Lucky - I'm glad you are enjoying it :) . If it isn't fun, it's not worth doing as a hobby so I'm glad that has been shown.

@ tim in saskatoon - Thank you :) . I am hoping that the decals will make it even more so :) .

@ Grimm - That APC is destined for something different ;) ... as a side note, the Hasslefree Grymn Walker is just small enough to fit through the side door... did I mention Grymn ;) :o ?

On a side note, I have now got some gloss and matt varnish so the decals should be going on soon :) . THEN... the big photo-shoot :) .

I know that I have always said "no bikes" but I managed to get a bunch of Mantic bikes and I thought that they could be Hearthguard Bikers (Spacemarine Scout Bikers) to add to the "high echelon" (Spacemarine) part of my army. Obviously, a small amount of conversion is necessary to make them fit in with my other Hearthguard... so that is what I have started doing :) .

I have snipped the unarmoured torso off the rider and have added a Steel Warrior torso (trimmed down) and head. I have also beefed up the legs and added the standard arms. I still need to convert the arms but as a test conversion, I think it is working so far...

Existing Hearthguard troopers:

How could you say "no bikes" - these are Squats we're talking about here!?

Have you seen the ones from Ramshackle games?I have a bunch of the jet bikes, and I've been tempted to pick up a few of the squat motorbikes...

I am not a fan of the resin and quality of Ramshackle products... I much prefer the Mantic bikes and they are very easy to convert :) .

Yeah, fair enough. My jet bikes did need a LOT of work to get them looking nice...

I'm calling this bike finished... after all, I have another 11+ to go so I want to keep things relatively simple :) :

There's nothing like a big hobby slump to make you try and finish the more obscure things that lurk on your work-bench...

This is Dash Hound... a speedster to go with my little collection of superheroes:

I have also been painting Primaris Space Marines... which isn't something I would usually do. Hopefully, I'll get back to sorting out these bikes sometime soon:

Productive anyway! A slump isn't really a slump - you're doing other things and thinking about how/what you're going to do with what you think you're ignoring ;)

There is a lot of creative work here.
