Still wrestling which bits to get. Now we get the extra stretch gaol stuff I'm shuffling my groups. Patricians is still top of the list though.

I backed this. Roll on feb.

Don't think it is complex at all. " I roll the amount of dice my stat says, your stat is the target number. any successes over your stat hurts you". is the general gist. The current list of special rules is quite small in comparison to a lot of games out there. Then again I have played infinity and malifaux which i find very rules intense, so by going to this I am easing off on rules. If i had just come from lion rampant or something I guess it would look quite complex.

Noticing in my local gaming groups that we are all swaying towards 'simpler' games. I think its an age thing, we all have work and families/ mortgages etc. nobody has the time to learn copious rule sets.

we should start a study : " Age vs gaming" lol

You'll want the Tor games thread then...

Actually that mechanic sounds quite fun, And after putting together a bunch of the carnevale scenery from TT a few months ago I really like the idea of having a board of twisting Venice backstreets.
if the casting and quality of these is as good as it is on the rumbleslam miniatures (which i don't like but my god are they well made.) then I look forward to picking some up.
never trust a horse, they make a commitment to shoes that no animal should make.

Just got my kickstarter pledge through today. Unfortunately the core elements of my pledge (rulebook and faction) were missing. I've spoken to TT combat and that's getting sorted.

Everything else looks great though. The minis look really great. Really nice detail on the resin but doesn't feel too brittle. Looking forward to getting them built and painted!

TTC are very good to deal with so should not be a problem.......but you do wonder how the core of the pledge could be forgotten, an add on or such yeah, but the core components ???
