I alwasy thought "gray" was mis-spelled "grey"... ???
Both are correct spellings of the word. There are areas where one is the primary spelling and some where the other is.

Brill  :)

I think you should weather it, it'll bring it all together.
cheers

I second the weathering. It should look well used! You have created something good.

I have started on the lower hull but the going is slow due to the unexpected nice weather here in the UK. I have been spending more time in the garden drinking the occasional Gin and Tonic and enjoying the sight of that rare golden orb in the sky.

I also find myself painting detail underneath that will not be visible, but my OCD will not let me just leave it plain. I have done this on plenty of models before and I do try to just do the bits that are visible, but I always seem top go back and "finish it". No one else would know I had not painted a certain bit unless I pointed it out...

I sort of lost my way on this model over the last few months, various reasons, lack of painting mojo, family stuff to deal with, a hot summer and general lethargy...

But having some time off over Christmas means I can finish the monster off.

I have painted the various resin bits, I decided to go for 2001 style spacesuits.

Then there are the power thingy's.

...and some screens with printed and laminated screens.

The interior is getting some colour before it gets inked...

I am pretty much calling this model FINISHED.

The rest of the work still required are really just tools and crates to be stuck onto worktops and shelves.

EVA section...

Med bay...

Engineering...

A thingy...

And illuminated thingies...

Just need some crew, Astopolis crew!
