That is a truly stunning set of figures, magnificent!
 :o :o

Impossible to choose between yourself and Agis which is best, lets just say that you both have the best Blackstone Fortress sets that I have seen.

Thanks everyone, appreciate the comments. Agis's Blackstone is pretty inspiring. At times I think we were painting the same miniature on the same day- I was just putting off basing and photographing all at once :)

I'll probably be slowing down a lot for the next three months as my job responsibilities increase- this was a manifestation of procrastination.

Plus that damn Ambull expansion that GW announced... I couldn't let them release that before I got the set done!

Now I'm on the hunt for a nice 3D terrain set, looks like there's at least one out there.

There's at least one great looking set of files if you have access to a 3d printer.

Thanks for the link, that looks good.

I'm getting closer everyday to dropping $$$ for a 3D printer :)

Amazing painting, I have no idea how you keep them so consistently beautiful.

Those are some very nicely painted figures, I may well use some as inspiration when I get around to doing my own.

Lovely stuff. Many of the Blackstone fortress models I thought where pretty sweet, but I wasn't a fan of some of the heroes.
It's amazing how people from the community are better able to make the mode shine with better colourschemes than the actual tudio models.

As a follower of the Eldritch Epistles blog,  I would see some unearthed and exceedingly rare unreleased miniatures- and then lament that I'd never get my hands on them. Wargames Foundry did something amazingly cool and released a set of these previously unavailable Rogue Trader era miniatures, which included some Arbites and an Administratum scribe.

These were painted up pretty quickly- they certainly have that mid-80s Citadel chunkiness we Oldhammer fans know and love. I also painted a "Confession Booth" by MaxMini that I've been eyeing for several years.
