Excellent, the detail and sculpting of the models is 1st class and you have painted them up very nicely indeed.
Wish I had seen these before going 28mm, a much more wallet friendly way to go.
Cheers

Those new APES! are incredible. I thought the pack by Blue Moon couldn't be improved upon, but think you've just done it. Very well done, sir!

Just thought I'd share a few additions to my project.

Some mammoth calves -

The small calf is a rubber toy sold as a good luck miniature. THe slightly larger toy is by a company called 'Bullyland'.

A wise woman and younger members of the tribe -

The Old woman is from Khurasan Miniatures as is the young girl who originally started out as a mammoth rider. The young boys are from Xyston and Irregular Miniatures with the later having a head swap.

Young adult male and wolf companion -

I am eagerly awaiting the release of the movie 'Alpha'.
The wolf is from Splintered Light Miniatures with it's head repositioned and the young  adult is from Khurasan with a head swap.

Finally, a new measurement stick -

Cheers,
Barry

I finally finished a HotT Stronghold for the Cavemen, women and children or cave for a very cranky bear!

The cave back is open so I decided to add some very poorly drawn (painted), art by yours truly…

I also found some more mammoths that seem to fit in okay with my 15mm miniatures. I have cut down one to represent a beast caught in the trap. I plan on repainting the trap.

Finally, something a little different for me – a 25/28mm Cro Magnon miniature from Lucid Eye and  Dire Wolf from Pathfinder Battles range by WizKids. I rarely paint miniatures this size, but I have been contemplating a small TUSK project using larger miniatures and decided to dip my toe into the water to see if it is something I really want to follow through on. Both utilised the dip method and still need to be based.

Thanks for taking the time to have a look!

Love the bushes on your cave Barry. What make are they? (Or homemade?)

Thanks Captain. The bushes are from my own little enterprise - Leadbear's Tufts.

Excellent stuff,  the cave is impressive but the cave paintings are a very nice touch.

The 28 mm figures have worked well, the wolf is suitably ferocious and the dip subtle. The Cro magnons are wonderful figures but I do wonder at the hair style, using a flint razor or scraper. Ouch

I agree with the above - both 15mm and 28mm are well done and Barry's products are great.
