I'm just getting in on this so that I can give my kids a bunch of miniatures to paint (and keep a good few myself) It's great for the little ones to practice painting with and have some minis of their own that don't break the bank as mine are always asking for more things to paint and it gets expensive!

$680K without being through the first day.  That's gotta be record territory.

It's at about 70 minis for $100 which is good value already (except that you probably only want half of them, and of that half, you only need a quarter of that). The add-ons are a big draw in as they are usually a much better deal than buying new after the KS. Still can't beleive that Froghemoth from Bones 3 was only $10. It is HUGE!

Some nice smaller sculpts but as Beefcake says, good to have the children have a go at them. Last Bones I only did a bit of cherrypicking on the big guys and I probably will do that again, only this time slightly more than a bit  lol.
The human sized-stuff I really want I'll pick up in metal eventuallly.

Actually a very good idea... Mmm, might have to consider a basic pledge too, as those wraiths would do nicely as scenery on a graveyard.
Probably will have to cut the weapons away, but they are bent anyway, so no loss there... :)

30 goblins for KoW should be useful. Could even use the pig as a mount.

Also, that dragon is... tall.  ::)

$12 for 18 paints is a good deal. Waiting on the mouslings!

The pig & cart is one of the few things I want. I hope it will be available individualy. Otherwise, I'm a little disappointed with the selection of figures this time around. Hoping more interesting stuff is yet to come.

What? You'll paint all the other miniatures in your painting queue in only two years?  lol

The huge griffon will be in the Core set, not to mention the even huger dragon that's already there.

Reaper mostly sells its bones as singles, except for three-packs of "low level" monsters like skeletons. A FLGS can't stock all of the Bones line, so, for the more unusual figures, expect to pay MSRP and/or shipping from the OLGS or Reaper store.

To be honest I'm not a huge fan of the big dragon. But by the time it is out my kids should be better at painting and they will want it for them which I'm happy with. It will also distract from any big things I get for myself.

Likewise. I'm happy to spend up big, but I'm still waiting for something that really interests me.

Starting to look better. I like the looks of the griffin, wyvern and especially the dragon turtle. Unfortunately I have no use for any of them.

The skeletal monsters, on the other hand, I do have a use for. And I can buy those a la carte.

There's some interesting items in there, but I'm not a fan of their plastics.  Too bendy, guess I'm a miniature snob!
