Mongol Camel Drummer
« on: August 09, 2017, 03:37:55 PM »
Being commission free and off work this week I have been cracking on with my Mongol army.  The plan is to use them as both allies and opponents for my Chinese armies. Finished five camel drummers this morning and here's one of them although the camera and size makes him look a lot untidier than through my knackered eyes :'(

15mm I presume? He looks pretty good to me. :)

Mark sent me a 15-18mm barbarian to paint for his Conan game. I can hardly see the figure, let alone work out how to paint it lol

That reminds me ...

Essex 15 mm figures.  Painted in 2008 and still going strong.

Thanks chaps.  Here's a stand of generals, a camel and a Perry Choson for size comparison.  Pendraken 10mm and I have managed to finish over sixty of the little buggers so far this week - its great to see an army come together right before your eyes as you work on it and then trundle off for some paracetomol, optrex and a darkened room to recover.

ooh, very intriguing.

Vexillia, I have a 15mm army with those very same models from much earlier than 2008 but they are not as nicely painted as yours, lets say I was going for a more gritty, earthy look ::)

Svennn,
Looks great. Painting minis that small would leave me cross eyed and crazy!
