And handily comes with many more cats - just have to work out the best use for them...

From off-camera support to more hands-on support, what expedition would be complete without a well-armed Gunner? Professionalism optional.

Nice take on that Evil Mastermind (aka The Hideous Cat Lady). What about her group of Cat-fu  fighters henchkittens?  ;)

I've the full set of them, though I think the 25mm bases I've got at the moment might be slightly over the top for them. I'm pondering an Aristocats-inspired scenario to try and entice my other half into a game ("It's a tabletop game, darling, not a wargame - utterly different!").

I'm looking for one of my leagues to be quite gadget-heavy, so I've roughly painted up a couple of Boombots to accompany them and (hopefully) wreak havoc:

I like your boombots, even if I don't know what a boombot is.

Probably a robot loaded with enough C4 to BOOM! an entire block!  ;)

Pretty much! It's a Pulp Alley follower which (usually) detonates when it's taken out of action. I'm hoping to charge them into the middle of some low-level characters and cause some mayhem.

Got to love those Boombots! Always get a laugh out of them - boom or no-boom.  lol lol

We have had amazing luck with ladies playing and enjoying Pulp Alley. The freedom to tell a story may appeal to her.

Looking forward to see how it develops!  lol

For my game group, the Reaper Cat Lady is the ultimate villain: we once had an absurdly fun game with the players as kids trying to retrieve a ball throw in the lady's courtyard and confiscated by her! :D (and yes, the kittens were all "henchmen" and masters of Cat-Fu!)

I've got some school kid miniatures which could be re-based and used for such a game...

Yeah, I first tried with Games Workshop's LotR rules. That was an error; you're right, I think she just wanted a story.

We had lots of kids minis for the players to choose from: from Horroclix (Monster Patrol duo) to Reaper (Townsfolk: Modern Children) and Hasslefree (all children miniatures, including the Medieval kids). Every part of the house was the setting of an "imagination" mini-adventure, featuring Pirates, Orcs, WW1 Dogfights, a modern Heist (dodging red laser beams to prevent the alarm from going on)... oh, and the Wild Kids-Eating Mushroom From the Wicked Forest (in the Lady's garden). A VERY FUN game!  :D
The idea of the game was heavily inspired by the movie SUCKER PUNCH EXTENDED VERSION!  :)

Story is everything, IMHO!  ;)

Our goal with Pulp Alley was to give players the encouragement and freedom to tell their own stories. But players who really just want action won't be disappointed in the least.  ;)

And I love reading through everyone's AARs for that reason - there's usually so much more invested in each character and what they do than in other games systems I follow. I love the LotR SBG ruleset, but the focus is largely on the heroes and monsters. In Pulp Alley everyone gets their moment in (or being comically knocked out of) the limelight.

I can't come up with a decent title for the next miniature, chiefly because I haven't worked out whether she's a mere underling or assistant or else a hideously wicked mastermind. Still pondering...

And you know you've succeeded in both goals, right?! :D

Just keep doing that GREAT job or yours! (and by "yours" I mean all the members and associates of the Phipps Cartel)  ;)
