Spartan Games closing down

I just had an email from Spartan Games announcing their closure. There was a link to a statement but it doesn't appear to be working. Anyone know any more?

Update: the Spartan site is running very slowly - this from TGN: http://www.tabletopgamingnews.com/spartan-games-is-closing/
