VSF British Robots - Warlord Konflikt47 Figures?
« on: August 25, 2017, 01:44:53 PM »
Hi All!

I'm not into Konflikt47 at all but was looking at some Warlord WW II specials and noticed the Konflikt47 British Automated Infantry with MMG (the 50 cal HMG armed ones didn't look very VSF though), a bit of steel and a lot of brass paint and I think these will scrub up well. They are modelled as being 10' tall so will be big but hey nothing wrong with a big VSF robot...anyway ordered a set at the special price...

Cheers

I have heard via the K47 Facebook group that they're a bugger to put together, I haven't had experience with them myself though

Look more like Weird War I because of the Brodie Helmet (distinctive).

I love the idea of WW2 era robots but I don't care for these ones. I don't like how they are holding the MG. If they had something like a Thompson or over-sized Sten I might consider them.

I think Konflict 47 a non-starter. It is a stand alone rule set based on Bolt Action 1ed but it is more complex and not compatible with BA2ed.
They should have just done a sourcebook for BA2 or a stand alone set based on a simplified BA2.
