Sneak peek of my hillocks
« on: August 31, 2017, 07:27:54 PM »
Having had some work done on my hillocks, I thought I would whip them out and take some photographs.

All from Kallistra's vacuum form non-hex range with the additional of some rocks, fila, sand, shredded cork and various foliage.

Very nice,

I like this one in particular

May have a try at making a few for my 15mm Desert Fantasy project (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=103486.0).  Looks like we've used some similar techniques and colours too.
Photos of my recent efforts are at www.littleleadmen.com and https://beaverlickfalls.blogspot.com

Puts me in mind of the celebrated Beatles song about undead contraception, The Ghoul on the Pill.

Huge thanks for all your kind comments. Much appreciated.

The mat was originally a green one from terrainmat.com, which I repainted.

Beautiful job!  I believe they will be incredibly useful for blocking line-of-sight, laying ambushes, funnelling charges, and most important of all: looking great on the tabletop!  And I agree with Dr. De'Ath, that the added rock work is a real standout!
