Reaper Bones Dark Young of Shub-Niggurath
« on: September 02, 2017, 07:21:12 PM »
Finished up the big boy from the Bones III Mythos set, Shubbie's favorite spawn, the Dark Young itself.

Huge model, comes in three pieces (one leg, central maw, rest of it).

The fit on the maw is a little gappy and needed some filling, but other than that it's an easy build although the legs did need a bit of adjustment to sit flat.

The base is 120mm from an ebay seller, considerably cheaper than GW or Privateer's similar offerings.

All in all a nice big sculpt, suitably impressive for a critter that's done for an awful lot of CoC investigators over the years.

Seen here with a ruler and the Deep One priest and sacrificial altar from the same Mythos figure set.  Like I said, a big model.
