From our last demo game at OPEX (near Charleroi, Belgium) :

Figurines, good rules, buddies and beer !

What else do we need ?

Sounds like the perfect day to me.  :)

Fantastic write up. Thanks so much for sharing the game. The table looked great and the special scenario rules seemed to work well too.

Brilliant table and a really enjoyable read  :-*

I like the idea of the character traits with their bag. I recently made myself some leather tinder type pouches as dice bags.

Great write up on the game, google does a better job than me with the translation but reading about you painting the Reaper Bones bear you appear to be using some coating as a barrier between the plastic and your paint.

This is the translation

We must move the figurine with a primer (in bomb plastic layer) to isolate the plastic for the future contact with the paint. The plastic is here more "dry" and thus less flexible.
A sub layer of brown bomb just add a layer of protection. For once, I painted in acrylic.

What does sous couche pour plastique en bombe mean, is it just an undercoat as a barrier because I've only painted two bones figures and of course I undercoated in my normal manner without reading their instructions not to. The figures were sticky for a very long time. :?

I use Folk Art Glass and Tile medium mixed with a bit of Reaper brown liner. Works like a charm on bones.

Plastic under coat is something like that :

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rust-Oleum-400ml-Plastic-Primer-Spray/dp/B001W03PQI

but mine is like a varnish so you spray an invisible film on the figurines ... :P

It's work on 1/72 for example to prevent the paint lost when playing  ;) and i fix the grass i put on my trees and bases too

Thanks Pacarat and Eric

I'll have to look out for something like this because I want to get a few of the Bones monsters and was very unhappy about the stickiness on the ones I painted, especially as it was my own fault.

Cheers
