Little bits for 'Little England' ✌️

Inspired by a visit to the Black Country Museum I made this out of scrap bits and then bought some pigs!

"Mind where you are going!"

The 'enamel sign ' parts from Purple Bobs and cocktail sticks to finish off some road signs for the correct time line.

One night the lads nipped to Tesco and came back with plastic tubs of Haribo sweets. I used the empty containers to make steel hedgehog road blocks. One for road traffic and another for cross country vehicles. Based on card , a quick, cheap and easy build.

Back at home now with a part complete garage.....

Inspired by the garage  built by Panda earlier in the year I have loads more to do.

I wanted to be able to use this for my Interwar period games too so have two fuel pumps so as to be correct to period. This one is a 1937 and I have a 1922 type as well - they are not fixed but can screw onto a mounting screw so a quick change is easy enough. ( yes I did read all the posts about Davids garage and petrol pump types!) 😩

I'm not sure how I've missed this.But I won't  be anymore.
There's some really Well observed work here.
Will be watch for updates.

if your looking for Anderson shelters for your town/village. Have a word with Chris Abbey at Sally 4th. (He mugged me for the proof of concept shelter I'd knocked up. He mentioned last week that he's had it cast)

Mark.

Cheers Lads.Appreciated very much as getting back from Combat Stress is bloody tricky - feeling really low and best way forward for me is to keep active in the hobby.

Thanks Mark. Was just about to scratch some. Did get one off EBay and did this .....

Hope your recovery keeps progressing - have overcome the more mundane stress in the past, and best thing is to focus on a day at time, and doing stuff helps loads.

What's even better is you are producing great stuff for us all to see. I think the signs are my favourite of the current batch, very period, its little details like this that make the game look like its in the real world.

SABOT more awesome stuff, keep your chin up, producing fantastic models like these will help get through it, as the man said one day at a time and always keep one foot onthe ground :)
