We just posted our third Pulp Alley video --- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7l16QBns2o&index=3&list=PL5sjn64oN6aZcZNM2jQ-LU_WJNJDvIui0

Great videos, they're making understanding the rules a whole lot easier.  I'm very much looking forward to a full game play through.

A question on the recovery phase.  Let's say a d8 character is wounded in a turn and goes down to d6, if the recovery phase is passed (with a roll of 4+) is the character back up to rolling d8s next turn for shooting etc?

Thx

THANKS so much, guys. Glad you're enjoying them. We're planning to record a full Pulp Alley scenario, so I am hoping to get that posted soon.

Yes.  Level 3  and 4 characters who have been wounded, but are not down, also roll for Recovery and heal back their health levels, one at a time.  If they are down and pass a Recovery roll, they get up but are only restored to d6s until they heal back all their lost health levels.

Yes, rags is 100% correct.

In Pulp Alley we measure a character's "condition" is relation to the type of dice they roll for their Health checks.

The result of failing a Health check is that your Health drops one level (dice-type).

The result of passing a Recovery check is that your Health goes up one level (dice-type).

Thank you so much for making the videos.  It's a very easy way of learning to play.

I too would like videos on how to play solo and about using the Horror deck.
