That only works if you include a newspaper with today's date!   lol lol lol

Glad to see that you are still plugging along.  This whole thread is still some of the nicest work that I have ever seen.  New details always seem to appear when looking back at the photos.

Be thankful it's not a bloody, severed, finger received in the post.

Good to see you are plugging away again. It has always been a joy to view this thread. Admittedly, having missed out on picking up an ARII Scud launcher I was a bit saddened at the fate of yours.

Aye, sorry about that. Not the first time my love of butchering things for the sake of the Apocaypse has created sadness. In fact I think some members of the Matchbox and Dinky collectors clubs would happily sever all of my fingers.

It's not big, or clever, but let's do it anyway

Very happy to see an update and I am looking forward to more. The Dinky and Matchbox collectors will just have to learn to live with it - scale models are meant to become gaming pieces, it’s the natural order. Similar thing with model railroad supplies and Christmas ornaments, their highest calling is to be repurposed at gaming terrain.

Nah, I've happily messed around with old 'collectibles' and happily binned the 'near mint' packaging they seem so obsessed with.  lol

It's a toy, it was meant to be played with.

Amen to this brothers - cover everything in rust and be damned.

Next little bit. High value scrap.

Add to the list, people who buy candles, but never light them !!! :o

You keep on doing your excellent work.

The 'collectors' should thank you for making their 'treasure' that much rarer.  :D

The scrap looks great! It reminds me of bits and pieces that used to be in the workshop when I was a kid. It seemed like junk at the time- I didn’t realize it would be the equivalent of a small fortune after the apocalypse!

And the next little bit - the Muthaship's mobile fuel depot (and other useful chemicals).

The chair is very cool, isn’t it? I fondly(?) remember those at my grandparents’ house when I was a kid in the ‘80s. The plastic strapping on the seats would fatigue and eventually disintegrate - usually when someone sat on them.

Thanks all, the deckchair is from EC3D - a 3D print from their Beyond the Badlands Kickstarter. Sadly most UK 3D printing companies only do a fraction of the range, but I bagged this and a few other bits which are almost complete.

Cool. I'm so impressed with your skills I was quite happy to accept you had scratch built that with a paper clip and some modelling putty. Either way it's a great bit of kit.
