The Gallery of Stuff
« on: September 22, 2017, 05:12:02 PM »
Hello everyone, I've decided that I'll try and keep stuff contained here for now, well the fantasy stuff at least. I like to paint whatever takes my fancy at the time and right now a friend and I are playing through a LOTR campaign (Anyone interested in the write ups can get that here: http://grinningloon.blogspot.co.uk/2017/07/after-hobbit-part1.html)
But for now I'll throw up some pictures of my recently finished Balrog

That is picture-perfect aside from a stray mold line.  :-*  Fearsome!  :o

Yeah, I missed it at the time and now it's glaring me in the face every time I pick the model up.
But otherwise thanks :)

Lovely stuff. I missed the mold line the first time through, so it's not that obvious.

That fire effect is pretty convincing, especially close to the Balrog's skin. Great job.

A tad delayed, But here's what I'm working on at the moment. These are WIP Greens for a Human Ranger, Orc Spy, Dwarf Tracker and a Human Female Fighter. A fictional cookie to anyone that guess correctly where I got the inspiration for these four from :)

I'll be putting some pictures of other stuff I've been sculpting and some more LOTR stuff on Friday. I got me a game tomorrow so I'll try and get some shots of my Goblins in action.

Some more painted LOTR This time, one of my favorite minis of all time, yet he's never seen the gaming table.

C&C is always welcome

His flame colours contrast even more on such a gloomy table. Tense sounding game too.

Heya Guys and Gals. I'm back again with something new. I finished this big guy off a few months back, but have been unable to find a buyer. My usual contact is reluctant to work him into metal due to his size. For now though I'll just show him off here for a spell. There are more pictures on my blog, linked below:
http://grinningloon.blogspot.co.uk/2017/08/the-beast-unleashed.html

I've only been sculpting minis for a little while, but this guy has been a chance to work BIG for a change.

Thanks. Unfortunately, it won't see a lick of paint until I can get a master casting done. I don't have the funds to do it myself right now which is why the big fella is up for sale.

Any interested parties can PM me for details. Not sure if that's against any forum rules, my apologies if it is.
