The hands are off on Bone Spur. Way too big. :-)
Should be armed with a .22 if it has to be a gun.

But as always, loving each and every post on this thread.

Below are some shots from our This Is Not A Test Wasteland Shootout.  The purpose of the game was to determine the campaign's overall winner.

The scenario was essentially a 4-way 'king of the hill' type mission.  At the end of Turns 1 and 2, the flying saucer fired a total of 3 gas weapons that produced a large blast that then drifted in a random distance and direction each turn.  On Turn 3, Cyborg Hitler used his insidious weather machine to create a Rip Wind (another roaming large blast), which managed to take out a Renegade Reclaimer in power armor.  Starting at the end of Turn 2, the Despot's aboard the saucer began teleporting out of the saucer in waves (once again random distance and direction) to defend it.

Players earned VPs by having models within 4" of the flying saucer at the end of Turn 6.  Extra VPs could be earned by taking out Despots.  Cyborg Hitler, Mr. M, and Mega Nixon survived the game.  The rest of the Despots were not so lucky.  :)

The Tribals won first place, followed by the Renegade Reclaimers, Mutant Cannibals, and finally the Peacekeepers.

I think this photo does a good job of depicting the scenario's (intentional) absurdness.  Near the end of the game, Cyborg Hitler was locked in melee with the two Renegade Reclaimers.  Mega Nixon stomped on over, attacked the Renegade Reclaimer's leader, and using the Tosser ability, picked up the power armored warrior and hurled him over the wrecked cars. The Tosser rule let's one hurl an opponent 3 inches, but due to his size, I ruled that Mega Nixon could toss an opponent d6+3 inches.

The yellow marker next to the Renegade Reclaimer's leader is a prone marker.

The 'Springtime in the Wasteland' TNT campaign ended before I finished painting the last two members of my Settlers warband.  Here's the last of them.

I am late to the "This is not a Test" party after having been recommended the game by friends for a very long time.

Recently bought all the PDF and have now ordered the Rulebook as well.

Elegant rules and such a good excuse to order postapocalyptic minuatures from different manufacturers!

Anyway:
Just wanted to say that this thread is a great inspiration for painting and tinkering with terrain. Many thanks for all the input!

Historiker, you are most welcome.

Over the last few months, most of my hobby time has been spent on Mordheim, but I plan to return in earnest to TNT this summer.

One of my TNT hobby-goals has been to paint a mini for each of the 10 types of Freelancers.  I've completed 6 out of 10 thus far.

Last month I put some paint on my Deadman model (see page 8 of this thread), but I f'd it up, so the model took a bath in Simple Green.  The soak and subsequent scrubbing messed up my GS work, so I pulled it all off and sculpted everything anew.

Since I prefer to paint models in pairs, I got to work on a new Freelancer to paint while I'm working on the Dead(wo)man, a Wasteland Hunter.  This fellow is an Apache model from Black Scorpion Miniatures' Tombstone model line.  The Tombstone line is 32mm, so I knocked the mini down a few millimeters by removing a section from the model's lower legs and reattaching the feet.  I added a big knife and backpack (both are bits made by Anvil Industries) and used GS and various bits to transform the model's original rifle into something a bit more modern looking.  The head under the model's right foot is a GW Genestealer skull.  It's just the right height to fit under his foot and it looks like it could belong to a wasteland critter, so gaming genres be damned, my Wasteland Hunter is doing the ‘Captain Morgan’ on Genestealer’s skull.

Unless I am painting terrain or a vehicle, I typically use white primer.

I began with a base coat of Rhinox Hide.  Next, I inked it with Druchi Violet.  I highlighted with Rhinox Hide, then a mixtures of Rhinox Hide and Gorthor Brown, and finally applied Gorthor Brown on places likes the nose, ears, and fingers.  To further darken the areas where flesh met clothing or weapons, I applied thin lines of Agrax Earthshade to these meeting points.  I used Cadian Flesh to paint the lips, but the contrast was too sharp so I muted the color by washing the lips with Army Painter's Soft Tone Quickshade.
