28mm Sudan Project - Part 15 More Troops(31 Mar)
« on: October 11, 2017, 11:03:27 AM »
Hi Folks

Just kicked off my new project (now that the Napoleonics is complete) - this time we are back to the Colonial wars for a spot of action in the Sudan.

240 Dervishes assembled and waiting for the paintbrush.

Dervishes! Zillions of 'em! Roll up your sleeves! Good luck with your project!

Giles, it is not a question of luck. It is only the question if you do it until Saturday (21 Oct) or Sunday (22 Oct). This is the reason why yor second name ist Machine-Brush-Eric.... ;)

That's another impressive project! About storage, how do you ensure that the group bases, hence the figures, don't get jostled in the A4 boxes?

They only get moved from shelf to table - they very rarely travel so jostling not an issue

Delighted to report that I have finally finished painting up all my Dervishes (infantry) - a grand total of 368 figures.

Now have to start on the horse and camels

Yes, that horde will have the unbelievers quaking in their boots. God help them! Lovely work, Eric; it's great fun to watch your collection come together. Looking forward to seeing the cavalry!
