This is my Grand Manner Indian Longhouse. The main structure is done and I'll begin the landscape tomorrow.

The house was painted strictly by drybrushing various browns, tans and greys over the black undercoat.
I use a golden brown watercolor wash over some of it and I am happy with the results.
This was a practice run, as I am getting ready to paint the Hartwell tavern. I wanted to make sure the technique would work.
I'm pleased with the results and can begin work on the Tavern shortly.

If enough people are interested, I can post a short "how to".
Only 4 colors were used and all of them were cheap craft paint.
It was all drybrushing.
No actual "painting" was done, except for the black spray primer.

Anyway, it was very simple to do and I'm not above sharing my techniques.

Yep, interested. I have 4 of them sitting in storage, undercoated in brown.
