The Kiwarm buildings are cool - a 1/300 version would be excellent, but haven't been able to find one yet.

Following this. The range of kiwarm buildings is indeed impressive, i wonder if there's any equivalent for 28mm. It would simply be awesome.

Anyone received the 6mm buildings yet? I'd buy a big bunch of those!

All the buildings I got were N scale. They could probably work in 1:100, but they'd be too big for 6mm.  The exception would be the Parking garage building that is relatively scale-less, especially if you leave the "P" off.
You can see it here with 10mm stuff.

These wheels arrived today.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/JMT-2-18mm-Plastic-Wheels-Yellow-Mini-Wheels-DIY-Electronics-Kit-Wheel-Technology-Making-Materials-F19192/32759235837.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.uaGJEf

10 wheels for about $1.40 shipped.  At 18mm they're the perfect size for 1/43 cars.  Beyond the obvious usefullness for terrain. Sometimes otherwise realistic affordable 1/43 cars have fairly unrealistic wheels and swapping on a set of these could make them look much better.  They're also a bit rugged looking which makes them more suitable for post-apoc than shiny rim big tires of many toys.

The same pack just popped up here for $.70 cents.

Well this isn't so much a miniature find but if you are interested in doing your own casting and make molding boxes out of lego pieces then these baseplates can be good. I have one on the way (probably be stolen by my kids TBH)

You can also find other lego block pieces but they aren't so cheap.

Wilko do their own brand in the uk, but it's TERRIBLE.it's often warped an ddoesn't fight tight enough for mould boxes. Cheap chinese knowck off lego however has always served me right.
never trust a horse, they make a commitment to shoes that no animal should make.

I always layer some clingfilm on the bottom of my moldbox and then tape the sides to prevent excess leakage in the case of poorly fitting pieces.

Sand castle molds

I bought the Mayan pyramid version for $6 from.a different stockist now I see it on Ali for much much cheaper with extras. Great for quick buildings with plaster.
Not so sure about these

This one could have some uses though.

The Empire of Ghosts blog
http://empireofghosts.blogspot.com/2018/02/necromunda-freight-hub-structures.html
clued me into this one.

50-60 small pipe pieces for $4.60 shipped!

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2017-Colorful-Educational-Water-Pipe-Building-Blocks-Toys-For-Children-DIY-Assembling-Pipeline-Tunnel-Block-Model/32822964480.html
They're ABS so gluing and painting should be easier than with softer plastics.
The same product from another seller lits the sizes.

I've already got alot of pipe bits that I've collected for terrain but being made of ABS and the nice small size means that I'll probably buy a bag of these shortly.

Another one.

1:55 scale trucks. Bought the cylindrical recylcing truck.  Asside from the lack of interior, these are actually pretty well detailed and definitely sized well for 28mm.

Do some research though as prices can vary. Ali has them for around $4.50 shipped and Ebay it's closer to $3.50 each shipped.

Those look useful. Any chance of a pic with a mini. No worries if you can't be bothered :)

I love the fact that they have "truck" written on the cab. Remind me of asians wearing T-shirt with random englishs words, because to them our lettering look nice.
A word for miniatures, scenery and rules compulsive buying ? Zhobbyllness !

I can do that, maybe in a couple of days though. I'm going to do some with-figure scale shots for some spacecraft I built and I'll do the truck then.

Got bored while giving the kids lunch. Just happened to have an Arena of Planeswalkers (30mm sole to eye) at the table so I took a pic.

Just went ahead and ordered the two different dumpster trucks.  They're going to look great with chopped up spaceship and robot parts in their containers.
