Cheers!

Red Max

Built from WW1 vintage parts the Red Max is a simple yet still formidable vehicle.  The twin Maxims provide decent firepower and the airship engine and simple wooden chassis kept the weight down.

Cool!  Thanks Tony!  Some amazing bits of hardware there! Not helping me stop building though!

The inspiration for my cars is this Jap v8:

However, I'm so happy with the Navy land boat decking I'm tempted to make another...  Perhaps with a harpoon gun!
Need to find some navy crew now (pulp...?)

@3 fingers I'm not far off prohibition era, I'm aiming for late 1930's.

Do it!  If you are looking at 28mm then Rubicon have a Ford AAA truck in plastic on the way.

Tony

The blog post was interesting Tony but not as interesting as the fact that you are a third-generation wargamer! It must be in the genes by now...an epigenetic wargamer...
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

Need to find some 'pilots'
What about the Copplestone pilots?

Or are they too big?

Now with some pilots!
Just basing to go on these three.
Still debating crew for the land boat.  Thinking pulp sailors...
