Utterly fantastic Nick and what's even better I get to see them up close!

I really do need to get some terrain done so we can get them on the battlefield.

All those miniatures urgently needed some terrain to fight over, thus I finally got going and built/ painted some buildings for use with my SCW collection.

Both buildings are Charlie Foxtrot Models and are highly recommended. Not only are they real beauties with their resin pieces (roof, some other parts) to add character to the otherwise flat MDF, but furthermore Colin, the owner of Charlie Foxtrot, is an excellent guy to deal with. He virtually went out of his way to secure me the cheapest shipping rate to Germany.

Without further ado, here's the two buildings:

And while I was at it anyway, I also refurbished an older Ziterdes ruin I had lying around for a while now. I never liked the old bright green grass flock and the monotone grey walls. It's quite impressing what you can do with these pieces with just a little sand and paint.

Unfortunately the lighting wasn't all that good, thus I only got two decent staged photos:

¡Maravilloso! They really look the part. Extra marks for the flower pots.

If you get tired of white walls, a slightly sandy off-white, was/is popular. Old roof tiles also fade to various shades of light brown/beige/grey; almost like the colour gets washed out of them over time.
