Well I've been fending these delectable little creations off for years.
Phil Robinson tried to get me hooked on them about five years ago - I resisted!
Dr De'Ath finally succeeded, with his new mission to play Matakishi's 'Crom!' rules in 15mm...

They are tiny, but truly lovely. I don't know how Copplestone did it, I really don't.
These are the first 15mm figures I've painted in about 25 years, and I can report that they really aren't that much quicker to paint than 28mm - which surprised me.

Here are the first batch... I do have more... Whether I actually paint more - we shall see...  ::)

The Cimmerians

The Aesir (or whatever they called the lot from Asgard to the north of Cimmeria - it's been a VERY long time since I read the books!)

And, just by way of comparison, 15mm Copplestone barbarians, next to some similar kind of 28mm Copplestone sculpted figures...

Oh my poor eyes...  ;D

really lovely! Now you need to build another table for them....  :D
never trust a horse, they make a commitment to shoes that no animal should make.

Captain Blood, oh why do you do this! Your 15mm painting makes mine just look shabby!!!

Thank you for posting these amazing gems of miniature sculpting. If you finally get hooked, which I hope, you do, then the old Werner Klocke Demonworl range is nearly en par with Copplestone!

Superb!

The Copplestone barbarians overcome all my deeply entrenched antipathy towards "loincloth" barbarians (rather than, say, decently dressed Visgoth or Lombard types). And these spectacular paintjobs really help.

Bloody hell, they are good!
 :-* :-*

I am sure that you have this wrong, though...
Are you not supposed to move to bigger scales as your peepers get a bit older?

Cracking Richard, knew you would succumb eventually :)

Just wish Mr. C would get his finger out and get the fantasy Romans done.

Stunning :o And as for taking just as long to paint, a nipple is a nipple in 28mm or 15mm Richard lol

Absolutely lovely job - glad it's not just me that finds 15mm not that much quicker (even if if it's my fav scale). Skin tones are excellent.

By Crom! they are lovely Richard. Well brushed and look lovely next to their larger counterparts.
Best wishes,
Helen

Great skin tones and I always enjoy the "brightness" of your painting :-* :-* A tiny triumph!
