Lovely job chief - look great, and they 'read' really well. Any joy in the errant Pict? If not I'll send another tomorrow and a couple more Forged in Battle poses for you to compare.

Ooh, nice.  :-*

You know, I think maybe your style suits these little guys even better than it does the 28mm stuff.

Just what I was thinking. Richard you really make them ‘pop’.

Thanks lads.

Brilliant.

Ever felt like having a go at the Demon World figures?   ::)  Ral Parha Europe carries them now.

(Fantastic figures.  I intend to do some for HOTT in 2018.)

Thanks Malcolm  :)
No, never tried those. It's really the awesome combination of Copplestone and Conan that grabs me with these. Must sadly confess, I'm not overly interested in fantasy or 15mm beyond that. But interested to take a look at what you come up with on the Demon World figures.

Thanks Rory. No, I am afraid your kind donation of one of the missing Picts never arrived. A victim of the Christmas post maelstrom I suppose... The poor little scraps are probably down the back of a seat in a Royal Mail van somewhere...  ::)

Cheers.

No probs - easy to replace for you. My own fault I reckon, it was a pretty titchy parcel, which was probably asking for trouble...

Demonworld has the Isthak and the Thain series that can be used for a conanesque setting apart from a few orc and empire minis and of course the excellent dark elves - with a samurai flair.

Oh dear, six month hiatus...
Finally back to it.
Cataract surgery and copious quantities of real life have rather got in the way for the last several months. Plus a bit of terrain building :D

Now back on the brushes...

So, having finally tracked down the elusive 15mm Copplestone Barbarica Pict variants that had eluded me to this point (thanks to Nick Northstar for hand picking them out for me!) here are the latest primitive additions to the Pictish Wilderness...

And the Pict tribe so far... 15 variants!

Now I just need Mr. Copplestone to reconnect with his 15mm mojo, and churn out a Pict command / character pack or two...  :)

Truly excellent, I really like the color of the warpaint.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.
