What a great idea!!
I too was considering the idea as I have a Dystopian Legions Prussian  force !! Great minds etc
I have also just bought some DL stuff on EBay..to fill out my force..
Look forward to seeing the rest.
Cheers

I finally got around to slapping some paint on the FSA Aeronefs after having put them together ages ago.

I'm still unsure what to do about adding markings. White would look the most striking but what to do? Tail numbers? US style white stars or will that modernise them too much.

Decisions! Decisions!

I got around to adding some markings. I didn't want to go over the top but they were in desperate need of something to spruce them up and add a bit of character.

Wolivant was quite right about the funnel stripes  :)

And the Brit Nefs got some love over the weekend. The tail markings are rather like the Tricolour but I'm still pleased with the difference the added markings have made.

I have to admit, I was a bit put off by the paddlewheel, but that paint has made a world of difference! :-*

FLAGS!!!  ;)

The tail paint helps, but some banner/signals would not go amiss. :D

Perhaps some verticals and horizontals, the latter to signal the ground... ;)

Thanks guys

I'm pleased with how this is progressing at the moment. Early doors still as there are six more Nefs to come.

In the words of Eddie Izzard: "Do you have ...a flag"

I'm sensing some love for the flags here but in truth they are the sort of thing I prefer to have as an add on. I get eye twitch at the thought of snap off parts and so things like flags tend to be separate. It also means the ships can be.....piratical! if I so choose.  :)

"Verticals and Horizontals" I'm not sure I know what you mean Mr Beast. Are you referring to undercarriage markings?

Oh, HELL yes, we understand, but some 'oles to stick 'em in would keep us quiet.  ;D

Sorry, referring to poles or lines for signals. I suddenly imagined a line of pennants stretched from the sides.

The things that pop up in my mind. Really, no control... ::)
