The 40,000 universe, explored in smaller scales: 3mm
« on: November 16, 2017, 08:24:38 PM »
I seem to be on a mission to do various games which enraptured me in my youth in a smaller scale. First up, an attempt at a home made 6mm space hulk set. Some board tiles and miniatures.

Cool, you might want to mark the squares, cutting the floor sections will do it

Excellent start. Could you say what you are using for the figures?

They all from Onslaught Miniatures, the Terrans and the Sisterhood.

Epic.

Combines two joys of my life: 6mm and shulk. Followed.

Wow, I'd say you're off to a cool start!

Damn high praise, considering the source, and well deserved!

Different and clever, indeed!

Indeed. Very brave with all those tiny bits. But also smart. Very smart. ;-)

Thanks for all the praise. Alas, that space hulk is very much on hold currently. It was much quicker to buy and paint up a nanohulk from honeybee works. Pictures of mine below:

Wow, this one slipped past me! Great looking stuff, you’re scratchbuilt tile looks amazing - but I totally understand your move to the nanohulk set (which looks like a vast setup). The homemade tiles can take forever.

Looking forward to watching this thread grow.

Start of a new army. Some 3mm Novan Elites by Vanguard. Painted up as Sons of Horus, based as a Platoon.
