Doors Hinges and Handles
« on: November 17, 2017, 05:21:29 PM »
To distract myself from my Cannon Crisis I decided to add the doors to my starfort, can't have people just wandering in and out of the bombproofs, can we? https://antonswargame.blogspot.com/2017/11/doors-hinges-and-handles.html

Scroll down this page http://www.scalelink.co.uk/acatalog/Doors___Windows___Scale_1_76.html  and you will find 1/76 (00) scale door furniture for sale - but it ain't cheap!

Looks good, but raised detail in paper is prone to crushing - you might find thin metal sheeting will give you the strength you need.

Noticed on the blog that you are moving on to window grilles - how are you approaching those? I've done a bit of that in 15mm scale - whether it translates to 28mm or not will depend on the design you are aiming to represent.
