Building looksreally good - I like the multi level roofs and the nooks and corners. Plenty of "playability" on the table.

Thanks. I didn’t want the hassle of building an interior so I made sure the whole building had bits of interest to allow for cover and elevation. The slopes roof is shallow enough of an angle to allow models to be placed without fear of falling and the flat roof adds another playable area, and with some scatter terrain in the form of crates placed behind the false front, shooters can snipe from behind cover. I hope to build my other buildings with similar ideas to make them more than just set dressing and line of site blockers.

I finally got the building I started making two years ago painted. Had I stuck it out and persevered from start to finish I could’ve completed it in a few days of casual hobbying. Sometimes though a project is only better by leaving it and coming back to it later, having learned all sorts and gained inspiration in the interim.

Now, THAT looks like the Old West I move through daily.  There are many an old barn here about that have just that look.  Top notch.

My only complaint is you are already late with your tutorial on how you did that!    lol  All you have to do is get busy and rectify that oversight with your next building.  Hop to it, sir, hop to it!   :D

A Sunday well spent: watching westerns and painting miniatures.
I’ve only painted a few Knuckleduster Miniatures in the past couple of years, but they’ve certainly become my favourite.

Love seeing this come together.  Also glad to see a Knuckleduster convert - they're head and shoulders above anything else available right now.  Clean, wonderful minis.
