Absolutely fantastic - you've got the aesthetic dead on, though I'll be a bit of a nitpicky twit and point out that the comics code wasn't implemented until '54!  ;)

What's actually fascinating is how the 10-cent price for comic books didn't change between the 30's and the 50's.
