Agis Massive Darkness Minis
« on: November 25, 2017, 11:36:54 AM »
While I really like the game, many of the more traditionally fantasy minis are not to my liking. Evil Dwarves with pointy jelly bag caps? Oh no!!!

Same goes for many heroes. So I decided to make some customs cards and use again some Wrath of Kings and Zombicide minis as stand ins.

More cards on my site: http://www.adpublishing.de/html/massive_darkness.html

Creating the above cards did not stopped me from also painting one of the Fantasy heroes right out of the box - Owen the Paladin of Fury.
cheers and keep on gaming, Agis - https://www.adpublishing.de

Very nice cards.
Like the guy you painted,
His swords are huge.

Agis, I normally love your painting, but that model is so fugly even you haven't been able to redeem it.
Back from the dead, almost.

Have to agree.  Putting lipstick on a pig still isn't earning a kiss.  :)

So true folks, I really, really struggled to make the mini better, but the almost comical, cartoonish style provided a HUGE challenge.
Owen took me around 30 Min. I decided to really speedpaint the rest of the core box characters. Absolutely not worth any additional effort.

Well, kudos for trying.  I've got a weakness for applying porcine cosmetics myself (eg all those Dreamblade repaints I've done) but sometimes it just doesn't help.
