Well spotted.

They're off to Sally 4th (probably at Partizan) :)

Here a quick 'sketch sculpt ' I was in theory just converting a bike to fit a set of legs.Only I got bored and knocked up this . It's not a proper sculpt. More a rapid throwing of clay.( a little over three episodes of plebs)
If need I'll tweak it and finish it ,otherwise it'll end up back in the bit box.

Today's
Nonsense is starting with a green base colour and seeing where it ends up.
There's a little loss of colour tones in the photos. The final highlight just looks like dots . Fools the eyes better than the lens. Hay ho  ::)

Well, dang it, I can't complain about building an elephant (except for the scale).  But I can complain about cathedrals!  If I wanted to.

Nice colouring! :-*  The different tones through it, make it look more ‘real’.

Never ceases to amaze me what you can sculpt out of a bit of cereal packet, Mark.  :o

Sabot,
Which one's?

The Chinese are out with 1st corps.

Fram's driver is MIA presumed burried in the cat-Orang is okay.

The others are at Sally 4th. Cast and as far as I know 'Dags' has had his hands on them to paint up( which is more than I have.)

The pagan altar has gone to a new home. The mummy is propping up a tube of super glue at the moment.

I've been flat out with deadlines I've not had time to add sculpts to the thread(actually it never occurred to me too.)
So I'll add a few more painting pictures. I've been trying to make a silk purse out of a sows ear. As these are really poor castings, full of holes and weak detailing. I've had to use different styles of painting to try and coax something reason out of them. But needs must and now they're done.
So onto the next job.

I am expecting the 1st Corps Chinese in the next couple of days. I got so excited I had to paint up some more bandits for them to fight  lol. I would never have guessed that you had any problems with the Casablanca themed minis. They came out a  treat.

Lon,

You'll probably get them painted before I do. Next week I'll be making some new figures for my 'follies' bits n bobs. Speaking of bob that's where the next bunch of characters hang out  ;)
Until then here's some tank crews.

Mark.
